I was over the moon when I booked flights and 7 nights accommodation to Taipei in November for A$600!
What I needed to do next was to come up with rough draft of the travel plans.
I wanted to visit Taipei 101, Xiamending, Elephant mountain, yehliu geo park, jiufen, taroko gorge, beitou hot spring,Tam Shui

Useful resources:
- Local travel agent and brochures were 100% hopeless
- I borrowed the Lonely Planet Guide from the library but the entries were quite dated. Nevertheless, you might still want to purchase it if you have never been to Taiwan before.
- Tripadvisor attractions list.
- Chinese websites (if you can't read, you can use google translate).
- Yangminshan government website 陽明山國家公園,
- Taipei 臺北市民當家 Travelnet.
- Taiwan travel website.
- Taiwan tour bus 台灣觀巴
- MRT metro Taipei website.
- Zinio free Travel in Taiwan magazine.
Do you have any other tips for my trip preparation?
