I've been incredibly blessed by opportunity to travel with friends, family and as part of work. I've splashed about on the beaches of the Gold Coast, Australia, I've skied in Korea, biked over the Golden Gate Bridge, and met locals in Thailand.
Here are my top 10 trips so far:
1. USA/Canada 3 month works sojourn: LAX, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Tacoma, Washington DC, Philly, New York, Vancouver, Victoria.
2. New Zealand fly and drive: Auckland, Rotorua, Queenstown, Wellington, Waitomo, Christchurch, Dunedin
3. Japan train journey, Japan: Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Beppu, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Miyajima, Nikko,
4. Totally Tasmania, Australia: Cradle Mountain, Port Arthur, Mount Field, Launceston, Hobart, and more
5. Hello Beijing, China: Great wall, Forbidden City, Roast duck, Tiananmen Square
6. Bitten in Malaysia
7. Taking a short break in Thailand
8. Soaking up Sydney, Australia
9. The Nation's Capital, Canberra, Australia
10. Nomading in Melbourne, Australia
I've learned that the journey, destination and sights are important, but the planning can also be fun. With limited money/budget and time there is so much you can do, but with creativity you can gain a lot of insights.
I look forward to sharing more of the planning of these trips with you.
What are your top 10 trips?
